Herbs & Blossoms products are totally natural.

They are made from natural ingredients of plant and animal origin (such as beeswax, donkey milk etc.). 

Herbs & Blossoms products DO NOT contain parabens. 

Parabens are chemical preservatives with antibacterial properties, widely used in everyday cosmetic and pharmaceutical products as well as in the food industry. Their impact though in the human body and especially in the endocrinological and reproductive systems has been overtly challenged during the last decades, raising significant concerns over their safety.

Herbs & Blossoms products DO NOT contain phosphates. 

Phosphates are chemical elements which are used in common household detergents to make them more efficient. The disadvantage of using prosphates is that they remain in wastewater, causing in turn the pollution of underground, natural bodies of water. Since 2004, the use of phosphates in detergent was limited and ultimately banned within the E.U.

Herbs & Blossoms products DO NOT contain silicone.

Although silicone is not characterised as a toxic element and its presence in cosmetic products (e.g. in hair care) is shown to improve their effectiveness, it is definitely a chemical component. Depending on its content and type, silicone may not be as harmless as it is said to be.

Herbs & Blossoms products DO NOT contain genetically modified ingredients.

A GMO, or genetically modified organism, is a plant, animal, microorganism or other organism whose genetic makeup has been modified in a laboratory using genetic engineering or transgenic technology. This creates combinations of plant, animal, bacterial and virus genes that do not occur in nature or through traditional crossbreeding methods. Genetic modification affects many of the products we consume on a daily basis.

Herbs & Blossoms products DO NOT contain sulfates.

Sulfates are chemical compounds with a detergent and lathering effect, found in several household cleaners like shampoo, body wash, face wash, liquid soap etc. They create foamy bubbles and a sense of cleanness, their existence however is related to skin irritation, redness and itching.

Herbs & Blossoms products ARE NOT tested on animals.

The European directives safeguard the safety of the products meant for humans. But not on animal expense. Animal testing of cosmetic products or ingredients used in cosmetic products is forbidden by the E.C. since September 2004 and March 2009 respectively. Since 2009, the selling of cosmetics containing animal tested ingredients is also banned.

Herbs & Blossoms products are recyclable. 

The packaging we choose for our products contains recyclable materials. After their use, all materials may be recycled according to local recycling programs. Nothing is just thrown away.

Herbs & Blossoms contain no petroleum products, no mineral oils, no synthetic dyes or parabens.
